How Cambridge’s Political Power Brokers Shape the 2025 Election
The freshman soccer team dropped its initial match to a fast Exeter squad yesterday, by a score of 1 to 0, on the Business School Field. The winning goal was scored by George Henriques in the second quarter.
Hampered by a weak line, the freshmen had more chances to score than Exeter, but the Exonians consistently beat the Crimson to the ball. The freshmen were also handicapped by a penalty called on "Snick" Wilson in the first quarter, and an injury to John Mudd, a forward. The Exeter squad was also more seasoned than the freshmen, having already played three games.
Standouts for the freshmen were Walter Saxe at goal, Langley Keyes, left fullback, and Bill Rapp, center half. The agile Exeter goalie and the school's tight line prevented the freshmen from making much headway, although the ball was in Exeter territory about half the time.
Starting for the freshmen were Saxe, Wilson, Keyes, Charles Steele, Rapp, Pete Erskine, Al Butzel, John Hedreen, Jon Himmlehoch, George Herrick, and Harvey Mazer.
