President Pusey spoke last night in Houston, Texas in his annual tour of Harvard Clubs. President and Mrs. Pusey will be away from Cambridge until February 5, on a trip that covers eight cities in the East, Southwest, and West.
Ahead of the President are the dinners of the Tulsa, Southern California, San Francisco, and Rocky Mountain Clubs and a joint reception of the Dallas and Fort Worth Clubs.
Last Friday Pusey spoke at the 90th annual dinner of the New York Club and on Monday addressed the New Orleans group.
Tomorrow the President will go to Tyler, Texas to talk at the annual convention of the state Episcopal Diocese. At other times during the trip, Pusey will escape from his alumni obligations. He will speak to a Town Hall luncheon in Los Angeles, to a Mile High Club meeting in Denver, and attend a Commonwealth Club reception in San Francisco.
While in New Orleans, Pusey visited Tulane and Dillard Universities.
Various alumni are serving as hosts during the trip, including airplane manufacturer Robert Gross '19, railroad president Frederic B. Whitman '19, and department store executive Stanley Marcus '25.
A special edition of the CRIMSON will be flown out for the Los Angeles dinner on Monday.
