Freshman Vanishes; Mother, Police Hunt Four Days for Him

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

A police search for a freshman missing since Wednesday and driving a foreign sports car ended last night when he returned from his adventures. Stephen L. Wailes '59 of Thayer Hall and Maimi, Fla, reported that he had merely gone visiting in Middletown, Conn.

It seems, however, that Wailes' mother had tried to reach him about some legal papers on Wednesday night. Hearing that her son and the car were not in the Yard, she eventually had messages sent over the police teletype Saturday asking that he be requisitioned.
