Freshman football coach Bob Margarita is being considered as a possibility for the head football coaching position at Rutgers University, accordingto a report in the Boston Globe yesterday.
Margarita, who came here in 1951 from his head coaching job at Georgetown, played with the Chicago Bears after starring at Brown University.
The vacancy at Rutgers was created when Harvey Harmson resigned last season. Harold Knopf of Rhode Island is also in contention for the position, the Globe claims.
