Polio Cases Prompt Soccer Postponement

The opening Crimson soccer game, scheduled for this Saturday at Amherst, has been cancelled because of the Polio situation there. Three students, including at least one soccer player, have contracted polio in the last three weeks.

The encounter with the Lord Jeffs, always a soccer power, figured as a tough one, particularly since Amherst has been practicing several weeks longer than the Crimson. The game may be rescheduled at a later date.
