The local weather machine last night predicted pleasant if cloudy weather for the Reunion and Commencement Week jollification's. Nice weather has plagued final week festivities every year except 1936 when above average rains washed the Union over to the Faculty Club. The Boston weather man (not yet replaced by machine) chortled that "the emphasis that year was on soaking the rich."

Present forecasts for the remainder of the week include 65 percent relative humidity, murky skies, and temperatures in the mid 70's. Slow winds will be followed by fair tippling and high spirits.
