Goalie John Ogden made 18 saves yesterday afternoon in the varsity lacrosse game as the Crimson defeated Trinity College, 14 to 6.
If the varsity has played a non-Dexter Lewis game this year, yesterday was it. Tufts bowed to a strong Yardling squad yesterday at Medford, 11 to 8. Mike Shaw of the midfield and Mike Smith, attack, led the scoring with three points apiece. The game was tied in the middle of the fourth period, 8 to 8, until the Yardlings made a powerful drive to tally three times in the final few minutes of the contest.
