House crews will meet in the preliminaries for the championship race today. The course will be one mile long, and the crews will race in two heats, the first at 5 p.m. and the second at 5:30 p.m.
Adams, Winthrop, Eliot, and Leverett will compete in the opener, and Dudley, Dunster, Kirkland, and Lowell will compose the following heat. Crews placing first and second in both races will enter the championship on May 17. The House which wins a consolation race on May 16 also will row in the final event.
