A strong-hitting freshman baseball team was able to overcome its pitching deficiencies yesterday to defeat Boston University, 14 to 11, on the losers' field.

John Davis, Frank Saia, Stu Levine, and Walt Stahura collected two hits apiece and Bob Cleary got three to lead the Yardlings' 15-hit attack.
