Smooth metal dog tags on non-tarnishable chains, authorized by the Federal Civil Defense Administration, will soon be available to each University student--at his favorite grocery store.

The tags, which are expected to provide "quick identification in case of air attacks" will be permanently stamped with each person's name, address, and religious preference. They are being distributed through the "help of a large food manufacturer," the Massachusetts Civil Defense Agency reports, and will presumably be available to those who can produce fifty cents and one boxtop.
