Local Citizens Meet On Overnight Parking

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

More than 100 Cambridge citizens in the College area will meet tonight with Councilman Edward J. Sullivan to plan the removal of students' cars illegally parked overnight on city streets.

The meeting, which will be held at 135 Banks St., was scheduled after several residents, mostly from the streets surrounding Dunster, Winthrop, and Leverett Houses, had filed complaints with Sullivan, their district councilman.

Sullivan said last night that he could not reveal his proposed plan to remedy the situation before the meeting. "We'll explain everything to the residents," he added, "and see if they'll go along with the procedure."
