Alumni Elect Hatch As Next President

Francis W. Hatch '19 will succeed Devereux C. Josephs '15 as President of the Harvard Alumni Association for 1955-56.

Monte Lemann '03, William C. Coleman '05, and Morgan D. Wheelock '31 were elected vice-presidents. Howard S. Warren '32 will remain as treasurer, and Peter E. Pratt '40 as secretary.

Hatch's term as head of the organization of more than 100,000 alumni will begin Commencement Day, June 16. He is also a director of the Boston Metropolitan Chapter, American Red Cross, and vice-president of the Boy Scouts of America. In 1956 he will serve as chairman of the United Red Feather campaign in Metropolitan Boston.

Lemann, Coleman, and Warren are also graduates of the Law School. Coleman is Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court, District of Maryland.
