Second Yardling Heavy Crew Edges Kent on Charles River

Freshman stroke Phil Salmon paced his second Yardling heavy crew to a length and a half victory over Kent School yesterday afternoon on the Charles River. The freshmen were never behind over the three quarter mile course.

On Saturday the third varsity lightweights, stroked by John Hadik, pulled ahead in the last quarter mile of their mile and five-sixteenths race to defeat the second freshman 150's and Tabor Academy, in that order.
