From an eight-point deficit in the third minute, the Rugby Club fought to an 11-11 draw, and preserved its unbeaten record in a match with the New York Rugby Club played at Bronxville, N.Y., Saturday.

New York moved straight into Crimson territory after receiving the kick-off, and scored a try, rugby's equivalent of the touchdown, with the game only 45 seconds old. The home team added another try two minutes later for three more points.

Recovering well, the Crimson narrowly missed a score in the tenth minute, when center Mike Reynal was hit hard as he crossed the try line.

Twenty-two minutes later Bill Frate kicked a penalty goal to make the half-time score 8-3.

With two minutes left, Frate kicked another penalty goal, to raise his personal tally for the game to eight points and tie the score.

The Crimson's next game will be against M.I.T. at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday on the House Football Field.
