Although the team has been slightly weakened by exam schedules, the Rugby Club is still expected to repeat its earlier victory over the New York club in Bronxville, N.Y., at 2:30 p.m.
In the Crimson's season opener at Cambridge, New York lost, 8-3. Both sides have beaten Princeton, their only common opponent to date, the Crimson winning 8-0 and New York 6-3. In addition, the New Yorkers have crushed Westmount of Montreal, 17-8, while the Crimson has beaten the Eastern Canadian All-Stars, 6-0; and whipped Dartmouth 9-0.
The main changes in today's Crimson line-up will be in the threequarter line, rugby's equivalent of the backfield. Matt Baige is returning to the scrum-half position, with Buzzy Smyth moving in from center to fly half. Regular scrum-half Nat Cooke plays his first game at center, beside Dave Fisher, playing his first game for the club. Mike Reynal and Alastair Rellie, the team's two freshmen, are left and right wings.
Changes in the scrum are Brady Williamson at hooker, Bill Frate at lock and Art Ticknor at flank. All three are veterans of the club. The South African loose forward combination of John Chalsty and Lionel Bryer, which proved so successful on the spring tour, remains unaltered.
