Elder Becomes Full Professor of Classics

J. P. Elder will become professor of Greek and Latin as well as Dean of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences next summer. He has been associate professor since 1951.

While serving as Dean, Elder will continue his teaching and research. He is currently writing a collection of essays on Lucretius.
