Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
The senior class will elect three Class Marshals and one representatives at large to the Permanent Class Committee of 1955 today.
Voting procedure will be the standard student council preferential system, with each senior marking four men on his ballot in the order in which he prefers them. The three men who receive the highest number of votes will become marshals while the next highest candidate will be the representative at large.
All men who are not elected to one of the four posts today will run on Thursday in their respective Houses for the position of House Representative to the Class Committee.
This will be the first year when only a permanent class Committee will be chosen. In the past there was a Class Day Committee elected at the same time, but its functions were so unimportant that the permanenent committee will take over its duties.
The three Class Marshals will lead the senior class on graduation day.
