Varsity Skiers Lose Slalom; '58 Is Fourth at Holderness

The varsity ski team placed its two entries last and second to last in the 20th annual Hochebirge challenge Bowl giant slalom at Franconia, N.H., on Saturday.

The Crimson was led by John Andresen, who was 41st in the meet, which is regarded as a preliminary test for next week's National Slaiom championships at Cannon Mountain.

Behind Andreson for the varsity were Charles Thomas, 51st, Pete Churchill, 68th, and Chris Ingraham, 69th. Captain Ebbe Dane was 73rd and three other team members failed to finish among the first 75.

The Yardling ski team finished fourth in a five team meet at Holderness School in Plymouth, N. H. Karim Aga Khan was the top freshman competitor with a sixth place.
