Columbia Swimmers Face Crimson Today

The undefeated varsity swimming team seems certain to cop its tenth straight victory and secure second place in the Eastern intercollegiate Swimming League for the fourth consecutive year when it wallops Columbia at 4;00 p.m. today on Morningside Heights.

the hapless Lions have again lost to every swimming organization in the League, which means the Hal Ulen and his varsity will only be interested in crimson times as compared with those that will be complied in Princeton, where Yale should be crushing the Tigers.

Clumbia has only four men to distract the varsity from watching the Eli clockings against the Crimson's last opponent. Jim Amlicke off the low board and a pair of swimming twins lead what there is of the Lion's roar.

The due includes Pete Martin and Dave Orrik, both of whom are capable of a 54-second 100 and a 24.2 50.

These times and sheldon Wiederhorn's 2:37 in the breaststroke are, however, far from potent.
