Ten House basketball players have been named to the House All-Star team which will face the Crimson junior varsity squad tonight at 6 p.m. in the I.A.B. The game precedes the varsity contest with Cornell.
Adolph W. Samborski '25, director of intramural athletics, picked the team with the approval of the House athletic secretaries. The al-stars will be coached by Paul Shaw '55 of Kirkland House.
Notably missing from the House League is John Green, who led the House League is scoring. Green was not chosen because he is coach of the junior varsity.
The first string of the all-star team is made up of forwards John Hurst of Lowell and Deacon Robert Higgins; guards Robert Gorman and George Doyle, both of Winthrop; and Funster center Burton Berson.
The second string includes Williams Bell, Dunster, and Dan Mayers, Leverett, who will play forward; center Jim Joslin of Lowell; and Dave Bodiker, Winthrop, and George Feifer of Eliot who will be the guards.
