Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
The varsity ski team turned in its strongest showing of the season Saturday afternoon at Cannon Mountain as it finished fifth out of 17 teams in the Lynn Sno-Chasers Team Downhill.
Racing against Class A and B competition, the combination of Charlie Thomas, Pete Churchill, Captain Ebbe Dane, and Fred Churchill placed among the top 30 out of 180 skiers. Mount Mansfield Ski Club-won the event.
Thomas stood 14th, Churchill 16th, Dane 20th, and Churchill 30th. These placings were exceptional since the team lacked the services of Sandy Whitelaw, who has consistently scored well.
On Sunday Dane and Thomas placed 19th and 21st, respectively, out of 40 competitors in the Eastern Downhill Championships on the Wildcat trail. The two raced over the near perfect condition of light fluff on top of hard packed powder.
