Captain Bob Rittenburg led a group of Crimson "volunteers" Saturday to an unofficial victory in the first annual Connecticut Intercollegiate Relays at Storrs, Conn. Although there were no team points awarded, the Crimson easily dominated the meet. This was an unscheduled meet, and not all of the varsity competed.

Rittenburg, perparing for his last spring as a varsity athlete, captured both the 60-yard low hurdles and the high jump. He also finished second to sophomore Joel Cohen in the 60-yard high hurdles and third in the broad jump. In both hurdles races the Crimson's Ed Carter placed third.

By winning two events, Rittenburg, tied for individual honors with Yale's Stew Thomson. The Elis' great weight man won both the shot put and the weight throw.

Renny Little, running his first 300 of the season, captured the event with a 31.5. He also ran the third leg on the winning sprint medley team of Al Wills, Mike Robertson, himself, and Dick Wharton, and the anchor leg on the winning mile relay of Robertson, Alan Howe, Wharton and himself.

An unexpected victory came from Zab Warren, a Crimson sophomore, who won the 600-yard run in the fair time of 1:16.6.

Kip Smith tied for fifth place in the pole vault.
