Ben Heckscher, the Crimson squash team's number one man in the past season, defeated Donald Scott 2L in the finals of the University Squash Tournament yesterday in Hemenway Gym.
Hard shots down the walls and fast court coverage were Heckscher's chief weapons in scoring his 15-9, 15-13, and 18-13 victory.
By winning, Heckscher scored a complete reversal of the final round match of the same tournament last year. At that time, Scott, an ex-Princeton star, beat Heckscher in three straight games.
Hechscher defeated Scott once before this year in a Boston Class A League match.
