The Yalie Daily, considered in some quarters as one of the best college newspapers in the country, has ceased publishing on Saturdays. "It was not the result of popular pressure," said Edward Allen Kent, chairman of the News, "but Saturday is a big, active day at Yale and a lot of students don't have time to read their Yalie Dailies. Discontinuance is a service to them and us.
