The freshman hockey team tallied five goals in the final period against a tired Boston College sextet to win its ninth straight game yesterday, 9 to 5.
Bob Cleary scored four goals, as he led the upsurge with three in the last period. Wing Lyle Gattu and defenseman Woody Harris each netted two goals. Alex Kalil made the other score.
Boston college, with only two lines, held the Yardling team to a 4 to 4 tie for two periods, but fell to the Crimson in the final one.
