DOJ Sues Boston and Mayor Michelle Wu ’07 Over Sanctuary City Policy
William F. Mayes, Director of Public Health in Brookline, and Gerald Caplan, Psychiatric Director of the Harvard Family Guidance Center, have been appointed associate professors at the School of Public Health.
Mayes will become associate professor of Public Health Practice next September when he returns from India. He is serving as Chief of the Public Health Mission and Director of the Health and Sanitation Division of the Foreign Operations Agency in Karachi.
Caplan, named associate professor of Mental Health, has worked with the ministry of Health in Israel. He is currently a consulting psychiatrist to the Wellesley Human Relations Service and the School of Public Health.
