The varsity ski team will compete in the Middlebury Carnival and the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association Championship at Middlebury, Vt., today and tomorrow. The skiers must beat at least two of eight competing teams in order to remain in the senior division of the EISA.
Captain Ebbe Dane, Poto Churchill, Pat Colt, Lindsay Fischer, Chris Ingraham, Ston Lium, Joe Poindexter, and Sandy Whitelaw are entered for the improving Crimson squad.
The annual Harvard-Bromley Slalom will be run on Sunday at Middlebury. Churchill, Ingraham, Lium, and Whitelaw will be the Crimson entries for the slalom, which is run by the Harvard Ski Club.
The freshman skiers will race at Vermont Academy on Saturday and Sunday.
The varsity's next meet will be on Sunday, Feb. 29, when they will take part in the U.S. Eastern Amateur Ski Championships at Rumford Me.
