Varsity Squash Team Defeats Trinity, 9-0, Faces Strong Army

A more experienced varsity squash team swept to a 9 to 0 victory over Trinity yesterday without dropping a game. The match was held at Hemenway.

Displaying fine touch and using his corner shots well, Ben Heckscher, Crimson number one man, had little trouble in beating Dick Tewitt, 15-5, 15-7, and 15-6. Captain Bill Wister, successfully keeping his opponent out of position, lost only eight points in the first two games and won the final, 18-15. In the number three match, the varsity's Guy Paschal defeated Brooks Harlow, 15-12, 15-4, and 15-9.

"Bats" Wheeler, at number six, gave up the fewest points of the day in defeating Don McAllister 15-5, 15-8, and 15-2.

The Crimson's next match will be against a perennially strong Army team here Saturday. Although it has not played the two top teams in the East, Navy and Princeton, Army has lost only to Yale, 6-3.
