Inaccurate shooting almost prevented the Yardling hockey team from capturing its tenth straight win over a weak but hustling Exeter team on the Watson rink yesterday, 2 to 1.
The freshmen kept play in the visitors' zone a great percentage of the time, but their shots either missed the cage or went into Exeter goalie Herb Grant's pads. Bob Cleary scored his second goal of the afternoon at 1:16 of the second period, not by shooting, but by circling the cage and tucking the puck into the right corner. Grant had 36 saves, and Crimson goalie Dick Hubbell made 11.
