In its sixth Boston league match of the year, the varsity squash team bowed 4 to 1 to MIT at MIT Tuesday.

Ben Hecksher '57 won handily from Juan Hermosilla, 3-0, for the Crimson's only victory. Cal Place, playing second man, and Lee Folger, playing fourth, both dropped 3 to 0 encounters, while Captain Pete Milton in the third slot and Charlie MacVeagh in the fifth each bowed 3 to 1.

This match was the first match of the Boston season's second half. Going into this contest, the varsity was in fifth place, next to last, with a record of eight wins and 17 losses in individual contests. Heckscher, ranked third in New England last year, has gone undefeated in all his matches.
