Three Sophomores Elected As Council Representatives

Three sophomores and three juniors were elected as representatives from their Houses to the Student Council last night. Two Houses have not yet completed balloting.

Adams House elected Lawrence H. Johnson '57 to replace Gerald L. Cherry '56. With 101 votes, he defeated Gerald M. Kolodny '58.

Commuters from Dudley chose Charles O. Chambers '58 to represent them on the Council. Chambers received 72 votes, defeating Constantino S. Yannoni '57, Harold L. Goldberg '57, Henry L. Tafe III '58, Albert E. Yellin '58, Philip D. Cutter '57, and Paul R. Brass '58.

Results from Dunster House are still incomplete, because only seven out of eight names appeared on the ballot.

In Eliot House, Vaughn C. Payne '57 with 65 votes, edged out Sheldon J. Meyers '57 to replace incumbent David K. Sirota '56 on the Council.

John Appleton '57 defeated Stewart H. Hussey '58 to succeed Albert B. Levin '56, now president of the Council, as the Kirkland House representative.

Theodore O. Moskowitz '58 received 99 votes to defeat Richard C. Rohrberg '58 and Robert H. Secrist '57 for the position of Lowell House representative on the Council.

Winthrop House elected Richard C. Stillman '58 to replace David C. Baum on the Council. Stillman was followed by Stephen L. Singer '57 and James S. Tulenko '58.
