Yardlings Win

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The once-defeated freshman soccer team won its fourth consecutive shutout victory when it blanked Andover 2 to 0 Saturday. Goalies John Adams and Dick Pille shared the net-minding duties in the Yardlings' fourth win in five starts.

The team played the first half without its coach, "Poley" Guyda, because of confusion concerning the starting time. Center forward Roger Tuckerman netted the first goal in the third quarter. The Crimson clinched the game in the fourth quarter when left wing Herlut Provenson scored the final point of the game after 12 minutes of play.
