Princeton JV's Defeat Crimson

A had punt and a 15-yard penalty gave Princeton an opportunity to score a 6 to 0 victory over the Crimson JV football squad in a tight, defensive game Saturday.

The only score in the muddy contest came when quarterback Jack Hennessy was forced to kick from his goal line in the second period. Hennessy kicked the slippery ball out to the 25 yard line and Princeton attempted a pass. The Crimson was penalized for defensive holding on the play and the Tigers received a first down on the eight yard marker. In three plays they moved the ball down to the three and left halfback Gates Agnew plunged over for the Tiger tally.

The Crimson JV's threatened to score only once, when they recovered a Princeton fumble on the Tiger 35-yard line. After two first downs, the Crimson attack bogged down and Princeton regained possession of the ball.

Agnew and Hennessy each ran 35 yards for the longest gains of the game.
