The Crimson's pass defense may not have been as weak as it seemed, Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference passing statistics implied yesterday. The figures placed the varsity second only to Navy in the East.

In eight games, opponents attempted 89 passes against the Crimson, of which 37 were completed and six intercepted. Opponents' passing yardage totaled 460, or 57.5 per game, and four touchdown passes were completed against the varsity this season.
