Council Will Screen East German Films

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Two authentic East German Propaganda films will be shown soon by the Student Council's International Activities Committee, the Council has announced.

Proceeds of the showing, to be held before Christmas recess, will go to the National Students Association's nationwide drive to finance Christmas vacations in the Alps for students exiled from East Germany.

The films were obtained from the West German government by Otte Bachmann, James B. Contant exchange scholar. One shows the 1953 East Berlin riots, and the other a Leipzig youth rally.
