This year's football Captain Bill Meigs was named starting guard yesterday on the 1955 International News Service All-Eastern team. Beside him at guard was Yale's Captain Phil Tarasovic.

The team was dominated by Navy and Penn State, each with two men on the starting eleven. Navy placed end Ron Beagle and quarterback George Welsh, while Penn State had center Frank Reich and back Lenny Moore.
