Approximately 1600 permanent seats will be installed in the Donald C. Watson hockey rink by the end of December, Thomas D. Bolles, Director of Athletics announced last night. The rink, which now has 650 temporary seats, will eventually provide room for 2200 spectators.
The increase in seating capacity will enable the HAA to schedule more varsity hockey games in the rink. Tentative dates for the first four home games are: Northeastern, Dec. 6; Dartmouth, Jan. 7; Brown, Jan. 14; and Williams, Feb. 14. The Yale game, however, will still be played in the Boston Garden.
