New Haven and Campus police authorities yesterday called in reserve policemen and plainclothesmen as a special precaution to prevent post-game public demonstrations today.

The police had the first work on their hands at around midnight last night, when they were forced to bar all entrances to the Old Campus to quell an uprising of 250 Yale freshmen brought on by the taunts of 20 Harvard students.

Campus Police Chief John H. Bowers warned that any students from Cambridge participating in major disturbances on New Haven streets will be turned over to Harvard officials for disciplinary action.
