Hurst Leaves College After Court Sentence

John W. Hurst '56, who achieved national publicity this summer when he stowed away on the Queen Elizabeth, has left the College. The Dean's Office yesterday refused to comment.

As a result of his illegal voyage to the British Isles last June, Hurst was sentenced to one day's probation last week in New York. He received this very lenient sentence after pleading guilty.
