Dartmouth, the varsity's rival this week, suffered a 21-13 set-back from Lafayette, while Brown went down to its third defeat, losing 14-12 to Rutgers. At the same time, Colgate upset previously undefeated Princeton, 15-6.

Al Ward, scoring three times, took the Eli a step closer to an undefeated season as the Blue smashed Cornell, 34-6, Bucknell routed Temple, 38-0.
