The JV football team will open its season this afternoon with an away game against Dean Academy at Franklin, Mass. Coach Norman Shepard was doubtful about the squad's prospects, calling it "under usual JV standards" and "the most inexperienced group ever." The team is almost completely composed of new men.

The starting lineup this afternoon will consist of Joseph Stein, left end; Joseph George, left tackle; Edward handing, left guard; Michael Pritchard, center; J. Parkinson, right guard; Ted Raymond, right tackle; and Jack Evjy at right end. John Hennessey will be quarterback; Alton Steiner, left half; Dave Hoffman, fullback; and Ray Henry, right half.
