A large crowd of people expecting to see an exhibition of rare fish in Burr Lecture Hall yesterday saw instead of the fish a black Pontiac--smashed.
The car, driven by Miss Mary Baggan, a dietitian at Harkness Commons, had crashed through a plate glass window on Burr's Quincy St. side two minutes before the group arrived. Only the iron railing which surrounds the window prevented the car from rolling into the hall and demolishing, among other things, the rare fish.
The accident occurred when an unidentified driver hit Miss Baggan's car.
