Navy captured the Danmark Trophy from M.I.T. last weekend as the sailing team came in sixth out of ten colleges competing in the intersectional regatta. M.I.T., although handicapped by losses due to graduation, finished second in the races on the Charles.

The Crimson's two skippers, Fred Hoppin and Ash Langworthy, dropped from the third place standings which they held after the initial Saturday races. Langworthy captured the third spot in the final results of the B division.

The Crimson team took first in its two remaining meets over the weekend. In New London, George Cronin's sloop won two out of three races in a heptagonal meet. Sed Weske and Bill Owens also combined to defeat Babson Institute and Northeastern in a three-team contest.
