Boston College, absent from the University schedule since 1919, may become a Crimson opponent in the near future, Tom Bolles, Director of Athletics, announced last week.
In a speech before a group of Harvard students and alumni in Chicago, Bolles said, "Scheduling our seven league rivals does not mean we are completely divorced from other traditional opponents. We'll play such long-standing rivals as Boston College, Boston University, Holy Cross, Amherst, and others."
John P. Curley, graduate manager of athletics at Boston College, said that he and Bolles had discussed a B.C.- Harvard game several times during the past year and a half, but had reached no definite decision.
