Guttorm Berge, 1GB, finished second in the Eastern Amateur Giant Slalom Championship yesterday at Woodstock, Vt. Berge placed third in the 1952 Olympic Slalom Championship for Norway.

Fellow Norwegian, Egil Stigum of Dartmouth, won the title race with a two-run time of 1:51.2.
