The Faculty Committee on Athletics Tuesday night approved the revision of the athletic awards system proposed by the Undergraduate Managers Council, Donald C. Felt '49, Assistant Director of Athletics, announced last night.
Under the new plan, an undergraduate who earns four minor letters in two or more minor sports will be awarded a major letter in minor colors. A manager who earns three letters in minor sports, under the new system, will be given a major H, and beginning this year the Brown swimming meet will count toward a varsity letter.
