Dean Edward S. Mason of the Graduate School of Public Administration was one of three educators honored yesterday by Chancellor Franklin Dean Murphy, of the University of Kansas, at a dinner sponsored by the Boston Alumni of Kansas.
Mason, Professor Arthur L. Corbin of the Yale Law School, and Professor-emeritus Charles A. Kraus of Brown, all Kansas graduates, were given citations for distinguished service--Kansas equivalent of honorary degrees which it does not award.
The presentation to Mason was originally to have been made at Kansas commencement exercises last spring, but he could not attend because of like ceremonies here.
