Varsity Rained Out Of Brandeis Contest

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Weather reigned over the varsity and Brandeis baseball teams for the second time yesterday, forcing postponement of the teams' scheduled game at Soldiers Field.

On April 17, the teams were washed out of what was to be their opening contest of the season. Now, both that game and yesterday's game have been cancelled, the latter hopefully rescheduled for May 17 at 3:45 on the Crimson diamond.

Coach Norm Shepard's JV's meet Suffolk University here at 3:45 p.m. with Hank Hamel on the mound. The Yardlings are scheduled to play Dean Academy at Franklin, in what might be their first start since Saturday.
