Pomeroy, Jones Will Officiate At Memorial Service for Perry

Rev. Vivian T. Pomeroy of the First Parish Church (Unitarian) in Milton will officiate at a memorial service in honor of the late Bliss Perry, former Francis Lee Higginson Professor of English Literature, Emeritus, at 4 p.m. tomorrow in Appleton Chapel. Howard Mumford Jones, professor of English, will assist Rev. Pomeroy.

Perry, an eminent and beloved teacher, died on Feb. 13 in Exeter, N.H. at the age of 93.
