Crimson Sailing Team Qualifies For N.E. Meet by Tying R.I.

The Crimson sailing team qualified for the finals of the New England Intercollegiate Sailing Championship by tying the University of Rhode Island in the C Elimination at New London, Conn. yesterday. Jim Nathanson skippered the varsity to a second in the A division, while Tim Brown was taking a first in the B.

In other sailing action over the weekend, the College's second string finished second to the host team in the M.I.T. Invitational Quadrangular on the Basin Saturday. Fred Hoppin and Art Gossard won in the dinghy competition for the Crimson.
